どうしてNeoOfficeは寄付を必要としているのですか。

NeoOfficeのリリースごとに、NeoOfficeをダウンロードする方、そしてサポートとデバッグの掲示板に投稿する方がどんどん増えています。無料のダウンロードをサポートするために必要な帯域幅、機械、それにウェブホストの料金などにはお金がかかります。 Not only do we spend several thousand dollars each year to keep all of the NeoOffice infrastructure running, but the two creators of NeoOffice work more than 2500 hours of their time each year writing the NeoOffice code.

どうやって寄付すればいいですか。

クレジットカード、または PayPal アカウントで寄付できます。クレジットカード決済処理は PayPal を通して行っておりますが、クレジットカードでお支払の場合は PayPal のアカウントは不要です。寄付される方は下のボタンをクリックして下さい。

For large donations (e.g. US$250 or greater) we are able to accept checks or electronic payments. If you would like to make a large donation, please contact us directly at the following e-mail address: donationsupport at neooffice dot org.

While we would like to accept other methods of payment for small donations, we have found that for small donations other payment providers can charge large processing fees (sometimes up to 50%) for each donation. Also, for small donations sent directly to us, we have found that a significant portion of each donation can get used up by a bank fees and administrative tasks. Since our purpose is to use donations to fund NeoOffice development and support, we use PayPal as their low payment processing fees leave most of your donation available for NeoOffice.

大企業なら、NeoOfficeにかかる資金と時間のコストは大したものではないかもしれませんが、NeoOfficeを維持している二人にはかなりのものなので、寄付金は帯域幅の料金、コンピュータ、そしてウェブホストの料金など、個人では負担できない様々な費用に充てます。

Since developing and supporting a project as large as NeoOffice requires the two creators of NeoOffice to work more than 2500 hours of their time each year, we use any excess funds to subsidize the work of the NeoOffice developers.

どうやってボランティアーすればいいですか。

寄付の代わりにボランティアーしたい、とご希望の方は下記の仕事をご覧ください。

• NeoOfficeのテスティング・動作確認 - NeoOfficeの開発に関わっているデベロパーが少人数のため、バッグを発見したり、修正を試したりするのにボランティアーの力が必要になります。NeoOfficeテスティング掲示板に積極的に参加したり、最近の修正パッチをダウンロード・インストールしたり、そしてバッグを発見した際にその内容をBugzillaに投稿したりすると、大変助かります。
• NeoOfficeのエキスパート（専門家）になる - NeoOfficeは機能が大変充実しているため、多くのユーザはNeoOfficeサポート掲示板に質問を書き込んでいます。答えられるだけ答えていただければ大変助かります。

どうやってソースコードを提供できますか。

Bugzillaにてバッグ報告を投稿し、「cvs diff -u」形式による修正パッチを添付します。GNU一般公衆利用許諾契約書（GPL）の下で我々が公開できるかどうかを判断できるように、ライセンス・著作権の情報を各ファイルのヘッダーに必ず記載して下さい。

NeoOfficeのデベロパーはパッチを検討し、コード、ライセンス、著作権などの問題がなければCVS保管庫へパッチを適用します。
