NeoOffice® 2.2.1 for Mac OS X Released

SANTA CLARA, CA—27 August 2007— NeoOffice.org is pleased to announce the release of NeoOffice 2.2.1. NeoOffice 2.2.1 is available for all users from the NeoOffice download page.

NeoOffice 2.2.1 contains a number of unique new features including:

• Support for the native Mac OS X spellchecker
• Support for the native Mac OS X address book
• Support for high resolution printing
• Opening, editing, and saving of most Microsoft Office 2007 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents
• The latest features from OpenOffice.org 2.2.1
• And more!

NeoOffice 2.2.1 allows Mac users to utilize most Microsoft Office 2007 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files without the need for Microsoft's Office 2007 translators. Also, with native Mac OS X spellchecking and address book support, NeoOffice users now have a more seamless integration of Mac OS X's built-in tools than either Microsoft Office or OpenOffice.org. Lastly, NeoOffice users can now print high resolution images at the resolution supported by your printer.

Since NeoOffice is developed by volunteers and tested by users, we expect that users will find crashing or other serious bugs. We strongly recommend that you save your work frequently so that if you encounter a crashing bug, you will not lose much data. If you feel that you need software that has been heavily tested, we recommend that you use a commercially-supported product like Microsoft Office or Apple iWork.
