Since NeoOffice is developed by volunteers and tested by users, we expect that users will find crashing or other serious bugs. We strongly recommend that you save your work frequently so that if you encounter a crashing bug, you will not lose much data. If you feel that you need software that has been heavily tested, we recommend that you use a commercially-supported product like Microsoft Office or Apple iWork.

Only install the versions of NeoOffice that are listed on this web site. Please do not install an unlisted version even if you downloaded it from this web site in the past. Using such unlisted versions is very risky as unlisted versions have bugs that we have fixed in the listed versions.

Lastly, when users report crashing or other serious bugs, we fix these bugs as fast as possible and release small patches that contain these bug fixes. We recommend that you get the latest bug fixes by downloading and installing the latest NeoOffice patch installer.

Make sure that you read the important warnings for all users and check out the list of features and bugs before you install NeoOffice.

Để cài đặt được thì hãy nhắp đôi vào tập tin được tải về mà trong Finder. Hành động này nên mở chương trình Disk Copy («Sao đĩa lại»: /Applications/Utilities/Disk Copy). Như thế thì chương trình Disk Copy nên tự động mở tập tin được tải về, rồi trình bày một ảnh đĩa (disk image: tập tin loại -Intel.dmg) trên bàn giấy (Desktop) của bạn. Hãy nhắp đôi vào ảnh đĩa NeoOffice này. Hành động này nên mở một cửa sổ Finder mà bao gồm một tập tin NeoOffice loại .pkg (package: gói). Chỉ đơn giản nhắp đôi vào tập tin gói này nên trình cài đặt sẽ khởi động được.

Mặc định là trình cài đặt này sẽ tạo một chương trình được gọi là NeoOffice trong danh mục /Applications (Những chương trình) của bạn. Để khởi động chương trình NeoOffice này, chỉ hãy nhắp đôi vào nó thôi.

Important: Sau khi cài đặt như thế, bạn hãy gọi những tập tin sửa lỗi mới nhất, bằng cách tải về và chạy trình cài đặt đắp và NeoOffice mới nhất (Latest NeoOffice patch).

By default, the installer only installs English but language packs are available for 57 other languages. To add support for any of the other languages not included in the installer, install NeoOffice 2.2.4 and then download and install the language pack for your language.

Để tháo cài đặt được, chỉ đơn giản hãy kéo chương trình NeoOffice từ Finder đến Thùng rác (Trash).

Việc tháo cài đặt trình NeoOffice không ảnh hướng với sự cài đặt OpenOffice.org nào trên đĩa của bạn vì các tập tin loại cấu hình và người dùng đều của hai chương trình ấy là riêng hoàn toàn.
